Here is the final product. Everything represents something. Starting with the crown that is a Germanic style crown for a king. The elk represents one who will not fight unless provoked; peace and harmony. The diamond on the shield represents a journey while the X pattern represents resolution. The phoenix on the right side represents resurrection. The two symbols on the bottom represent first born son and second born. The latin phrase translated means "Be patient and tough, some day this pain will be useful to you."

These were done by another guy that I work with. Like I've said before, there is so much talent locked up into one room, it really is amazing. If we could focus on developing some of these talents even more, building confidence, then attacking issues, I think these guys could be really successful. I can continue to hope.

The Future

Well, we didn't draft the 'stache. The future still looks good though, for the first time in awhile I'm excited about the start of the season. I'm not getting crazy and thinking playoffs but I am thinking 40 wins, we'll see.

New Cross

This is the latest in a long line of cross projects. I get requests for crosses from all the guys at my job, in fact I'm backed up as of now. It is not that original but they are fun to draw. People are starting to ask me for more complicated things that I am really excited about. There may not be any crosses for awhile so I can work on them, but who knows.

A Dream Deferred

It seems like it was forever ago that all I ever thought about was basketball. I was so sure it would always be that way. The world seems so much bigger now. I still get that feeling when I watch a good game, like I could still try to play competitive ball. I probably always will and I'll be that guy at the YMCA, hope not. I miss it though, and I still love it.
